The Greatest Achievement in Human History

The Saturn VThe Space Shuttle Discovery is scheduled to launch on Saturday May 31st from Cape Kennedy.  My husband and I are to be the guests of NASA.  Why?  I am one of the very few women Aerospace Engineers who worked on the Apollo Project in the 1960s.  I worked on the rockets which were part of the Mighty Saturn V, the biggest rocket in history that WORKED.  There were 400,000 people who worked on Apollo and maybe 6 women.  This was in a time of racial strife, no equality, the Vietnam War, Elvis Presley, the Beatles, Communists and bad feelings about the Bay of Pigs invasion of Cuba.
